Lifelong Learning Council of Red Deer 2026-2027 Grant Year Application

Lifelong Learning Council of Red Deer (LLCRD)

The Lifelong Learning Council of Red Deer (LLCRD) administers funding provided by the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Advanced Education through the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP). These funds are distributed to incorporated, non‑profit organizations in Red Deer to strengthen adult foundational learning across the community.

Funded programs allow adults to build essential skills for work, education, and daily life, in the following program areas:

  • Reading and writing

  • Numeracy

  • English language learning

  • Digital literacy

  • Foundational life and learning skills

Programs are intentionally non‑formal and part‑time, designed to reduce barriers and create accessible pathways for adult learners.

Through LLCRD’s administration of CALP funding, local organizations are able to deliver community‑based learning opportunities that empower adults to gain the skills they need to thrive at home, in the workplace, and in society.

Funding is made possible by the Government of Alberta’s Advanced Education.
